Bucyrus community leaders take action to eradicate poverty form their community
The Bucyrus Community took decisive action against poverty by inviting Philip Devol to
present a two-day Building Bridges to Bring Us Together Conference.
Devol shared specific tools and information based on Bridges Out of Poverty, and another
of the event’s main objectives saw great success: the beginning of a conversation about
poverty issues specific to the Bucyrus community. The event drew an audience of 100
from community agencies as well as businesses, banks and hospitals, laying the foundation
for increased, unified action.
